A new draft law on responsibility for providing false data in electronic declarations will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada this week, and the parliament will consider it next week.
This was stated by the representative of the president in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, People's Deputy Fedor Venislavskyi on the air "Ukraine 24" TV channel.
This is a bill that will restore Article 366-1 of the Criminal Code. According to Venislavsky, the document will be discussed at the next plenary session. Venislavsky also stated that the current composition of the Constitutional Court may be dismissed.
"This composition of the KSU... is questionably legitimate. And the honesty of the voting judges raises a lot of questions. And this is shared by both Western partners and the Venice Commission. Let's hope that it will not come to such extreme options. But if it comes, we will vote for the dismissal of the entire court," he said.
As a reminder, the Constitutional Court recently passed a decision that canceled responsibility for declaring false information and left the National People's Committee with part of its powers.
