Feudals defeated Ze? Main results of local elections

Counting of votes will continue for more than one day, but already today it is possible to summarize the main results of the elections

The long-awaited local elections were held in Ukraine. Counting of votes will continue for more than one day, but already today it is possible to summarize the main results of the elections.

"Servants of the people" left without the people?

The first thing they pay attention to after the elections is the terrible result of the presidential party "Servants of the People". In practically all major cities of the country, candidates from Ze lose in the race for the mayor's seat, and only in a few regional centers do the "servants" have a chance to win.

As for the parties in the city councils, everything is sad for Ze-candidates here: in most cases, the "Servant of the People" party did not manage to rise higher than the third place. The usual picture is as follows: in the first place is the promerskaya local party, in the second is the OPZZH or EU (depending on the region), and only the "greens" are behind them.

Thus, the "servants" needed only one hour for their yesterday's voter to turn away from them and vote for the other party. It is obvious that the majority of Ukrainians are disappointed in the president and the monomajority. The only region where servants have a more or less positive result is the center of Ukraine. Uzhgorod also unexpectedly joined them.

However, it would be incorrect to say that the presidential party lost in a landslide. Some experts believe that it does not cost the "servants" anything to create backroom alliances with other parties and mayors, and calmly cooperate with current local competitors. Still, they achieved average results in the regions and passed the city councils.

Although it is obvious that Zelensky was counting on the second result.

Mayors remain in their seats

City mayors and their parties showed a fairly good result. Mayors either retained their post in the first round, or will go out in the second round with a convenient opponent. For example, the leadership of Klitschko and his party went to Kyiv, Trukhanov and "Trust things" in Odessa, and in Kharkiv, according to exit polls, Kernes won in the first round. His political power is also in the first place.

Somewhere, however, the intrigue persists - as in Lviv, where Poroshenko's European Solidarity party even bypassed Sadovoi's party. And her candidate for mayor has good potential for mobilization.

Ukraine divided again

The local elections once again proved that Ukrainians largely support two completely polar political forces: Poroshenko's Eurosolidarity and Medvedchuk and KO's "Opposition Platform - For Life". Both parties were surprised by good results in the elections, and "Servant of the People" won in many regions. And this means that Ukrainians are divided in political views: some adhere to the conditional path "to the West", while others - "to the East". At the same time, one excludes the other.

Crash and rise

The Batkivshchyna party, which has been written off from the accounts for a long time, gave very low results - its voters are getting older, and it has not learned how to attract new ones. Apparently, the strange personnel policy also affected. If some kind of reboot does not happen, then one of the oldest and most famous political projects may end up in the dustbin of history.

There is no support for radical parties such as "National Corps" and "Svoboda", which failed miserably in the elections. They gained a small number of votes only in the West of Ukraine, and even then, significantly inferior to the more venerable "EU", as well as "Golosa" and others.

The voters of the latter, and not only them, were surprised by the "Sharia Party", which - judging by Shuster's exit poll - is running in Kharkiv, Odesa, Nikolaev and Mariupol city councils. In addition, the party has a chance to exceed 5% in other cities of the country. However, it is noted that they will enter the city councils in small groups of 5-6 people and will hardly be able to influence the policy of the councils.
