According to the Ministry of Health, in the Odesa region on October 13, 1 thousand 191 people contracted COVID-19, 34 patients died, 900 recovered.
Meanwhile, in Ukraine, the number of patients in "covid" hospitals increased by a third in a week. The number of "orange" zones continues to increase, and the Kherson region has already been sent to the "red" zone. From October 15, new restrictions will apply in this region.
It should be noted that, due to the deterioration of the epidemic situation in Odessa, since October 18, children are switching to distance education. This was announced by the director of the city's education department, Elena Buynevych.
According to her, the agency received a recommendation from the Ministry of Education and Science to postpone the autumn holidays to October 18-24 instead of October 25-31.
"We refused such an idea. After all, people have plans, booked tickets. That's why it was decided to send everyone remotely," Buinevich explained.
Thus, the students will return to their desks already in November.
