Alexey Beloshitskyi, the First Deputy Chief of the Patrol Police Department, called on the deputies to return to consideration of the bill 5050-1, which proposes to introduce liability for public insult of a police officer.
- for insulting a police officer or disobeying a legal requirement — from UAH 850 to UAH 1700;
- for petty hooliganism — a fine from UAH 170 to UAH 510;
- for public appeals to non-fulfillment of legal orders by law enforcement officers — a fine from UAH 510 to UAH 850.
Beloshitskyi also asks to increase the financing of the police, since there is already a catastrophic outflow of personnel.
