Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a network of Internet agitators controlled by the Russian Federation, which operated on the territory of Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Poltava and Zakarpattia regions.

This was reported in the press service of the SBU.

According to the information of the Security Service, it is documented that, on the instructions of the Russian curators, the attackers coordinated and distributed materials on social networks with calls to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine and incite ethnic discord.

"So, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, operatives of the special service established the identity of a native of Donetsk, who distributed materials in support of the annexation of the Republic of Crimea and the occupation of the ORDLO, called for the physical destruction of the mythical "Ukrainian fascists" and promoted the idea of a "Russian world," the message said.

In addition, in the Kherson region, law enforcement officers exposed a resident of the city of Aleshka for spreading destructive content. In the Poltava region, operatives stopped the activity of a resident of the city of Horishnye Plavny, who posted separatist propaganda on her personal page on a banned social network. The Internet agitator actively participated in the activities of more than 20 anti-Ukrainian communities, which covered an audience of more than 100. users

It is interesting that the SBU employees also decided to link the "tariff protests" and agents of the Russian Federation.

"Cyber specialists note that the activation of the network of Internet agitators coincides with the so-called "tariff protests". It was established that by order of foreign curators, the accused incited users of social networks to participate in protests and violations of public order," the department added.

As a reminder, the "tariff protests" began in January: Ukrainians oppose high tariffs for housing and communal services and energy. In addition, various political telegram channels reported that the authorities intended will connect security forces against protest actions.
