The police, together with the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, stood on increased duty in the government quarter of the capital to prevent public order violations during the planned actions in the center of Kyiv.
This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv police.
"Today, mass actions have been announced in the central part of Kyiv, including under the building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and other state authorities. To ensure public safety and order, employees of the structural subdivisions of the capital police, military personnel of the National Guard of Ukraine, dog handlers, explosives and dialogue police were on duty," the message says.
We note that today, January 25, several actions are planned in Kyiv. On Hrushevskogo, near the VR, a peaceful picket "Two steps of pain" in support of the draft law on the regulation of medical cannabis, at 13:30 p.m. a protest action at the Office of the President of Ukraine "Salute to the President with Pay" and at 18:00 p.m. a procession in memory of the first dead participants of the Revolution of Dignity - Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred: Sergey Nyhoyan, Mikhail Zhiznevskyi, Roman Senyk, Yuri Verbytskyi and Alexander Baderu, who died in January 7 years ago.
