Now they will live with us.

133 citizens of Afghanistan who managed to leave the country captured by the Taliban on Ukrainian planes flew to Odessa. This was reported in the migration service of the Odesa region.

"Among the evacuated people - 48 adults, 85 - children, the youngest child is 7 days old. He was born at the Kabul airport when his mother was waiting for evacuation. The oldest is 85 years old. All evacuees were tested for the presence of a coronavirus infection, no patients were identified," the migration service said in a statement.

Before that, up to a hundred refugees from Afghanistan arrived independently in the Odesa region.

The city's Afghan diaspora promises to take care of the refugees.
