The Ministry of Education and Science has developed a draft of admission conditions, which may change some points regarding the admission of applicants to institutions of higher education in 2021.
The draft document is published on the website of the Ministry of Education. He proposes several innovations that, after approval, will be applied when enrolling applicants to universities in 2021.
Next year, all categories of entrants, including junior specialists, who have at least one VNO certificate, will be able to submit applications through electronic offices.
In order to support regional institutions of higher education, the MES proposes to increase the weight of the regional coefficient to 1,03 and to 1,05 for specialties with special support.
In addition, the institution will be able to increase the weight of the score for the professional exam, leaving at least 25% for the foreign language exam.
It is also planned that the applications of those applicants who are included in the budget will be automatically excluded from the competition for all other proposals, except for cases when the applicant himself wishes to leave them (if he plans to study more than at one educational institution, etc.).
