The US State Department allowed American diplomats to leave Ukraine and ordered their family members to leave.
According to a message on the website of the State Department, the United States gave permission for the voluntary departure of American civil servants - the so-called "sanctioned departure", at the same time ordered to leave Ukraine for members of their families - this is the so-called "mandatory departure".
Revision of this decision is possible only after 30 days.
In addition, the State Department has updated the fourth level of danger in the official advice on travel to Ukraine for its citizens.
The recommendations of the State Department say "Do not travel due to the increasing threat of significant military actions by Russia against Ukraine."
