In Transcarpathia, during a tourist trip, five people were covered in an avalanche, one was injured. This was reported in the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine in the Zakarpattia region.
The rescuers noted that, despite all appeals and appeals, tourists continue to put themselves in danger.
So, on January 23, at 11:31, the Rescue Service received a report that when a group of nine people were traveling on a tourist route, five of them were covered in an avalanche. The incident occurred in the area of the Plai weather station, near the village of Huklivy, Mukachevo district.
The tourists dug out on their own, but one person was injured and needs to be transported.
Ten mountain rescuers went to help the man. He has already been given medical assistance and at this time specialists of the State Emergency Service are transporting the victim on an all-terrain vehicle to the nearest settlement.
