Some Hungarian politicians have declared their desire to annex certain regions of Ukraine. In particular, the leader of the far-right Hungarian Mi Hazank party, László Torocki, said that if Ukraine loses the war, Budapest will take Transcarpathia.
The politician made such a statement during a speech at the annual party conference in Budapest on Saturday, January 27. According to him, the pressure of "international financiers" led to a war in Ukraine, which "will destroy Europe and send the economy of the continent to the bottom."
In particular, he claimed that "Ukraine was bought by BlackRock", an investment fund that has more than 10 trillion dollars at its disposal.
The Hungarian politician assured that he is allegedly in favor of a peaceful settlement of the war, but if "the statehood of Ukraine ceases", then Mi Hazank will claim Transcarpathia.
"If the statehood of Ukraine ceases to exist as a result of the war, Mi Hazank will claim Transcarpathia as the only parliamentary party", - UEFA Torotsky edition of the Index.
It is worth noting that these are not the first such statements by the Mi hazank leader. Last year, he spoke about the need to prevent the start of a new world war, that Ukraine was sold to foreign investors, and also spoke against the accession of Finland and Sweden to NATO, because it would allegedly increase the chances of a war with the Russian Federation.
