Ukrainians, representatives of the authorities and private companies were urged not to spread important information about the state of the energy system against the background of massive Russian attacks. This is reported by the Ministry of Energy Facebook.
The Cabinet of Ministers appealed to state authorities and local self-government bodies, state and private enterprises, companies, mass media representatives, experts, as well as ordinary Ukrainians. Due to the intensification of shelling, Ukrainians are asked to:
— not to announce publicly (on TV channels and radio broadcasts, in mass media, social networks) detailed information about the consequences of strikes;
— do not name specific objects of hits;
— do not provide details about specific objects and references to the area where there was or was not a hit;
do not specify the number of hits and the place of hits;
— not to provide information in specific numbers and indicators — regarding outages, electricity shortages, etc.
The Ministry of Energy emphasizes that the disclosure of this information carries a threat, since the enemy's intelligence works on open sources of information.
"Do not provide the enemy with valuable information that he will certainly use to further coordinate his actions and plan new attacks." urged the Ukrainians.
