Consequences of a massive missile attack on Ukraine

Monday morning seemed difficult: a large-scale air alert and a massive missile attack on Ukraine was announced almost throughout the country!

Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions.

As a result of the missile attack, critical infrastructure objects were hit, some cities were left without electricity, and the Ukrzaliznytsia train schedule was disrupted.

The President's Office warned that due to the massive shelling, they are entering emergency shutdowns of electricity in the cities of Ukraine.

What is known now:

Kyiv region. Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported that as a result of strikes on critical infrastructure facilities, part of the capital was cut off, and Kuleba reported the arrival of flights in the region. In many areas of the capital and the region, the lights and mobile communication problems were turned off. Vyshhorod, Irpin, Bucha, Gostomel, and Vorzel are also without electricity.

Zaporozhye region. Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Government, confirmed the rocket attack on the regional center and the damage to critical infrastructure facilities

"In the morning, the enemy attacked a critical infrastructure facility. Due to the attack, power outages occurred in the city. Information about the victims and the extent of the damage is being clarified," wrote Anatoly Kurtev, secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council.

Vinnytsya region. Borzov reported that a missile was shot down over the region and fell on civilian objects. There are no casualties. As the head of OVA Serhiy Borzov reported, the rocket fell on civilian objects, there is destruction. According to Borzov, there are no dead or injured, special services and emergency services are working at the scene of the incident.

Mykolaiv region. Explosions are known. One of the missiles probably lost control and turned towards Russia — Vitaly Kim.

Kharkiv region. Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov announced two "arrivals" regarding the critical infrastructure facility.

"Today, at approximately 8:00 a.m., the enemy launched rocket attacks on Kharkiv and Chuguyiv district. Previously, by missiles of the S-300 complex, which were launched from Belgorod. Critical infrastructure facilities were damaged. Therefore, light interruptions are possible. There are no casualties at the moment, all services are working at the places of impact. The information is being clarified," said the head of Kharkiv. It is also reported that the Kharkiv metro has temporarily stopped working.

"There are also problems with water supply, but energy workers and our utility workers are doing everything possible to restore water supply to the homes of Kharkiv residents as soon as possible," wrote the city's mayor.

Kirovohrad region. The head of Kirovohrad OV Andriy Raikovych also reported on the "arrival".

"Enemy missiles hit one of the energy facilities in the Svitlovodsk region. Previously - without victims. The liquidation of the consequences of the fire is ongoing," he wrote.

Dnipropetrovsk region.
The occupiers hit the energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipro and Pavlograd. Serious destruction has been recorded, reports the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Reznichenko. All services are available on site.

Cherkasy region. Ihor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Oblast, reported that the enemy shelled the Cherkasy region - "arrivals" were recorded on one of the critical infrastructure facilities of the region.

In connection with the missile attack in Ukraine a number of trains are delayed. However, 80% of the trains that are currently on the road continue to move according to the schedule, Ukrzaliznytsia reported.

"Due to the morning terrorist attacks on the energy infrastructure, there are areas without electricity. Reserve diesel locomotives have been removed, all trains will continue to run," the message reads.

Flights of trains #81/82 Kyiv – Uzhgorod, #712 Kyiv – Kramatorsk, #732 Kyiv – Dnipro are delayed.
