Automobile fuel continues to rise in price in Ukraine. Yesterday, January 25, at some gas stations "A-95" jumped in price to 34,25 hryvnias per liter, and diesel - to 33,84 hryvnias. Such price tags are mainly displayed by premium networks. On the second, the cost of fuel may be 1-2 hryvnias lower. This was reported by the head of the "A-95" agency, Sergey Kuyun.
According to him, the increase in prices for gasoline and diesel is unprecedented.
"Since the beginning of the year, plus 2,5-3 hryvnias per liter. This is a record for the last eight years," says Kuyun.
Let us remind you that prices for automobile fuel in Ukraine are regulated by the state.
Experts explain the reasons for the price frenzy: price tags at gas stations are driven up expensive oil and the collapse of the hryvnia.
They argue that even if oil prices stabilize a little (and this process has already begun), we may not feel a drop in gasoline and diesel prices - everything will be "eaten" by the growing dollar rate.
"If the dollar rate rises to 29 hryvnias, we will not see any reduction in price associated with the stabilization of oil prices. unless there will be a further increase in fuel," says Kuyun.
