Three years have passed since the release of the first "smart" watch from OnePlus, and now the company has introduced its successor - the OnePlus Watch 2. Observers see it as a competitor to the Apple Watch.
The main feature of the watch is 100 hours of operation without recharging. This was achieved thanks to the dual-processor architecture: background tasks are calculated by a separate microcontroller. According to this indicator, it significantly surpasses the main players in the market — Apple Watch Series 9 (18 hours) and Pixel Watch 2 (24 hours with always-on display).
OnePlus Watch 2 is equipped with a 1,43-inch round dial with an AMOLED matrix with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. The model has a steel bezel, 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory, protection against moisture according to the IP68 standard and 100 options for visual customization of the dial. Bluetooth 5.0, GPS (L1+L5) and NFC are also built into the device.
The "health" functions include tracking sleep quality and stress level, determination of blood oxygen saturation level, physical activity index, GPS tracking and sports modes. All information is aggregated in the OHealth application.
In Europe, OnePlus Watch 2 costs 329 euros (~13 UAH). Sales will begin on March 500.
