Ancient metal, flint and bone implements, a unique bronze celt ax belonging to the Final Bronze Age, as well as bone and bronze arrowheads are among the archaeological finds discovered during the construction of the highway.
Various ceramics are represented by both ancient molded vessels and fragments of ancient Greek amphorae. An interesting and yet another very rare find for Pryorel is a coin of Khan Tokhtamysh.
"As evidenced by old maps, in the 18-19 centuries. a road with inns, mills and inns passed on the site of the built highway. This is confirmed by numerous finds of artifacts from this period, including Orthodox and Catholic crosses, local ceramics and manual millstones, a coin from the time of the Russian Empire of Peter I," - note in "Ukravtodor".
The Highway Service in the Dnipropetrovsk region will show all the archaeological artifacts found at a special exhibition in Dnipro, which will be held from March 1 to 5.
The Dnipro-Tsarychanka-Kobelyaki-Reshetylovka route is one of the largest objects of the "Big Construction" program of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. "Ukravtodor" plans to complete work on this project already in 2021.
