Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov was vaccinated against the coronavirus disease with the Indian-made drug CoviShield.
He did it live on Monday, March 1.
Stepanov received the vaccine at the Aleksandrovskaya Clinical Hospital in Kyiv. Before that, the doctor measured the minister's blood pressure and asked about complaints about his health.
After receiving the injection, Stepanov told about his condition.
"Better than before vaccination," the official assured.
Earlier during today's briefing, the Minister of Health promised that the first of the high-ranking Ukrainian officials to be vaccinated against the coronavirus disease, and after him, President Volodymyr Zelensky will also receive the vaccine. According to Stepanov, the head of state is vaccinated together with the Ukrainian military.
