As of Monday morning, March 8, Kyiv and eight regions of Ukraine exceeded the number of hospitalizations of patients with Covid-19. The situation is worst in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the maximum permissible level is exceeded almost 2,5 times.
This is evidenced by the data published by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The rate of hospitalizations of patients with coronavirus was exceeded in the following regions:
- Ternopil region — 60,6 hospitalizations per 100 population with 60 being the maximum permissible,
- Khmelnytskyi region — 67,8,
- Kyiv - 67,7,
- Mykolaiv region — 69,9,
- Zhytomyr region — 87,3,
- Transcarpathian region — 96,1,
- Chernivtsi region — 96,6,
- Vinnytsia region — 115,
- Ivano-Frankivsk region — 146,3.
The highest occupancy rate of beds with oxygen in Zakarpattia region is 71,3% (with a certain indicator of 65%). It is also high in Ivano-Frankivsk region (62,4%), Chernivtsi region (52,9%), Zhytomyr region (50,9%). In Kyiv, as of March 8, oxygen beds are occupied by 44,5%.
Four oblasts are in the red zone of epidemic danger: Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia.
