The first batches of the vaccine against COVID-19 have already been sent to 27 EU countries, in the coming days they will arrive at their destination for the start of vaccination on December 27, 28 and 29.

"After careful packaging, batches of the newly approved vaccine (Pfizer/BioNTech — ed.) from COVID-19 are sent to 27 countries. These vaccines will soon arrive at their destination for use during European vaccination days on December 27, 28 and 29," the EC said in a Twitter message.
President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen reacted to the message.
"I am touched by what I see: the first vaccines against COVID-19 have been sent to all EU countries at the same time. In a few days, the first Europeans will be vaccinated," she wrote on Twitter.
