Public catering establishments in Ukraine may work on New Year's Eve not until 01:00, as previously prescribed by quarantine restrictions, and until 07:00 on January 1, 2021.
The relevant resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, December 23.
"Amend paragraph 2 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 9, 2020 No. 1236 "On the establishment of quarantine and the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures to prevent the spread of the acute respiratory disease Covid-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus on the territory of Ukraine", replaced in sub-item 12 the number and the words "up to 1 hours" with the number and the words "up to 7 hours", the document says.
As a reminder, on December 9, the government extended the opening hours of cafes and restaurants by one hour. According to the current rules, guests of these establishments can sit in them until 23:00 p.m.
