Today, information appeared in the mass media that tests for the coronavirus have ended in the Odesa region. Sergey Dementyev, representative of the Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the Odesa region, told about it, reports TSN.
Over the past day, 41 residents of the region were diagnosed with the coronavirus disease, but they were conducted by private laboratories. State medical institutions did not perform diagnostics, as there were no reagents.
— There is money for test systems and reagents, but the suppliers cannot provide what is necessary in sufficient volume, this is a national problem, — noted Dementiev.
However, as Vitaly Goncharov, the chief sanitary doctor of the Odesa region, said, the necessary materials for conducting the tests were brought to the region today. - They will be enough for about a month. The laboratory center is already working as usual, said Goncharov.
