Starting today, January 31, the order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to expand the list of professions for mandatory vaccination comes into force.
The order applies to employees:
- local governments;
- established health care of state and communal forms of ownership;
- communal enterprises, institutions and organizations.
Employees of these institutions who have not received at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 by the end of January will be suspended from work without pay.
This requirement does not apply to people who have absolute contraindications to vaccinations against COVID-19 and a medical certificate confirming this.
We remind you that mandatory vaccination for representatives of a number of professions was previously introduced in Ukraine. In particular, the list included employees of central executive authorities, representatives of organizations and institutions providing social services, institutions for the protection of children's rights, rehabilitation institutions, as well as employees of enterprises that have strategic importance for the economy and security of the state. In addition, education workers and officials of local authorities were required to be vaccinated.
