Young Ukrainians over the age of 12 will be paid 1000 hryvnias for a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 under the Support program. About it on January 10 reported press service of the President of Ukraine.
President Zelensky tasked the Cabinet of Ministers with the task of preparing a separate program for the payment of UAH 1000 as part of the "eSupport" program for children aged 12-18 who have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19.
According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, more than 6,7 million Ukrainians have already applied for UAH 1000 as part of the "eSupport" program initiated by the President.
According to him, eight partner banks are currently paying assistance, and another 15 financial institutions should join the program. UAH 6 billion have already been transferred to the relevant accounts of Ukrainians.
As part of the program, citizens used UAH 1 billion, of which the following was spent:
- for books - 35% of funds
- cinema - 29%
- railway tickets - 13%
- theaters - 12%
- sports clubs - 7,5%.
The procedure for the introduction of the "medicine" category for fully vaccinated people over 60 years of age is now being developed.
"Now, 19 million people have been vaccinated against COVID-14,8 in Ukraine, of which 13,98 million have received two doses. On January 9, there was an opportunity to be vaccinated with a booster dose. And to date, 20 thousand people have received an additional dose," the Prime Minister said.
As a reminder, the payment of the "covid thousand" started on December 19. Money is credited to virtual cards, it is impossible to receive it in cash.
