The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and the Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China Wang Wentao signed an intergovernmental agreement, which provides for the expansion of cooperation, the promotion of cooperation between Ukraine and China with the aim of implementing joint projects in the field of infrastructure construction, writes CTS.
Among the priorities of cooperation are railway transit, airports, ports, communications and municipal engineering.
According to the agreement, Ukraine and China encourage the companies and financial institutions of the two countries to actively cooperate in the construction of infrastructure facilities; contribute to the establishment of closer economic ties between the two countries and provide the necessary assistance and support in the implementation of joint projects.
It is noted that the "Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the People's Republic of China on the deepening of cooperation in the field of infrastructure construction" provides for the attraction of funds on preferential terms from the Government of the People's Republic of China, necessary for the implementation of infrastructure projects.
As a result of joint consultations, the parties will approve potential cooperation projects that will be supported by the means of the People's Republic of China.
"The signing of the agreement on the deepening of cooperation in the field of infrastructure construction is another step of the governments of Ukraine and China to deepen trade and economic cooperation that meets the common interests of the two parties," says the message of the Ministry of Education and Culture.
