Today, at an extraordinary meeting of the Organizing Committee of the National Contest for Eurovision 2022, it was decided to approach the Kalush Orchestra group with an offer to represent Ukraine at the international song contest.
This happened after yesterday the Organizing Committee decided to stop participating in the selection of Alina Pash for visiting the occupied Crimea.
The musicians have not yet decided whether they will agree to this proposal.
"Nobody has contacted us yet. As soon as everything is known, we will definitely communicate, and everyone will know about it," the musicians said.
