The national selection for Eurovision 2024, where a representative from Ukraine was chosen, was broadcast on Saturday, February 3. During the voting, the "Action" application stopped working correctly, which was reported by the presenters during the live broadcast. Therefore, the announcement of the results was postponed to Sunday, February 4.

The members of the jury gave them 10 points, and the audience - 11. In total, the girls scored 21 points, which made them the winners.
It is worth noting that their performance at the National Selection caused goosebumps among the members of the jury, presenters and viewers. However, there was also a remark. According to Danylko, he missed the interaction of singers on the same stage. At the same time, he noted that Alyona Alyona raps well and added that when he heard the song "Teresa & Maria" for the first time, he immediately thought that it was worthy to sound on the stage in Sweden.
The organizers kept the location of the final a secret for security reasons. Also, the audience was not invited to the National Selection, which, as before, was held in the format of a concert.
11 finalists competed for the win this year, namely Yaktak, Ingret, Nazva, Anka, Drevo, alyona alyona and Jerry Heil, MELOVIN, SKYLERR, Ziferblat, YAGODY and NAHABA.
Singer Yuliya Sanina, comedian Vasyl Baidak and presenter Timur Miroshnychenko became the presenters of the national selection. But the finalists were judged by singer Jamala, showman Andriy Danylko and leader of the band "Bez Obmezhen" Serhii Tanchynets.
The band Ziferblat received the highest number of points from the jury.
Duet Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil received the largest number of points from the audience based on the results of voting in "Dia".
On the eve of the announcement of the results, the singer SKYLERR announced that withdraws his candidacy, but the management of "Public Broadcasting" warned that the current rules do not provide for such initiatives.
The competition itself will be held in May 2024 in Malmö. The first semi-final will be held on May 7, the second - on May 9, and the grand final - on May 11. It is known that Ukraine will perform in the first semi-final. Cyprus, Poland, Serbia, Lithuania, Croatia, Ireland, Slovenia, Iceland, Finland, Portugal, Luxembourg, Australia, Azerbaijan and Moldova will also compete for victory in the first semi-final.
