Physical evidence was stolen from a morgue in Kharkiv. Things belonging to the dead man, who was hit by the motorcade of businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi, disappeared there. The press service of the National Police in the Kharkiv region reports on the incident.
"The negligent attitude of employees of the Chuguyiv District Department of the Kharkiv Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination to their duties led to the loss of material evidence in criminal proceedings," the police report.
So far, law enforcement officers have compiled a list of employees of the morgue, conducted searches and investigative actions in the institution, as well as in the homes of all employees and in cars.
Previously, things were shown at the prosecutor's office when the identity of the person who died under the wheels of the motorcade was established. It was a jacket, sports jacket, hat, boots and pants.
We will remind, on the night of February 10, an unknown car hit a pedestrian and ran away on the highway "Chuguyiv - Martovo". After that, the license plate of the car from the motorcade of businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi was found at the scene of the fatal accident.
Yaroslavskyi himself stated that he was asleep during the accident and does not know anything. Later it became known that the driver of the Yaroslavl motorcade turned himself in to the police.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, fired the head of the police of the Kharkiv region, Stanislav Perlin, who is suspected of trying to falsify the circumstances of the road accident involving the motorcade of businessman Oleksandr Yaroslavskyi.
