At the auction, representatives of the charity fund put up as a lot a painted tube from the charge for the M777 howitzer called "The Burning Kremlin", which symbolized the hopes of all Ukrainians. It was sold for 4 thousand hryvnias.
It should be noted that the fund, created on February 26, 2022 at the initiative of a mutual help chat in Telegram, quickly turned into an important support center for all those in need.
The fund helps our defenders, displaced persons, pensioners, poor families, homeless animals and all those affected by this war. The work of volunteers is aimed at making people who fled the war feel needed and adapt more easily in a new city.
Already in August 2022, the Trymay Foundation was recognized as one of the best humanitarian organizations in the Odesa region. Behind it are four dozen volunteers, including many forced migrants, who work for free, guided solely by the call of the heart.
The foundation's main event is the weekly Support Day. The team has already held more than 75 such events for displaced people, in addition to 7 more festivals and other events. It is a time when volunteers distribute food, hygiene products and other essential items to those in need. But that's not all. Support Day also includes cultural and educational activities, providing not only material but also spiritual support.
For example, Support Day also includes animal support projects, cultural exhibitions, book and toy exchanges aimed at children to provide diverse support to the community.
In addition to helping the civilian population, "Trymay" actively supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine, collecting the necessary equipment and products for the military and residents of the front-line villages in the south of the country.
Every contribution collected allows the Keep Foundation to continue its important mission of support and assistance, but over time it becomes more and more difficult to help. Therefore, the help of sponsors is extremely valuable for the continuation of these weekly Support Days, which have already become a good tradition of our city.
