The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for the law on ensuring the rights of military personnel and policemen to social protection.

The People's Deputy noted that the project was significantly improved:
"The possibility of servicemen being treated for up to 12 months, in particular abroad, without the need to personally pass a military medical commission after four months is supported. A monetary payment of UAH 15 million to the defender's family in the event of his death has been established at the level of the law."
According to Zheleznyak, before the second reading, all regulations prohibiting the military from disseminating certain information in the media and the Internet were removed.
