The head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine (GUR) Kyrylo Budanov expressed an assumption about the possibility that Russia bought satellite images of objects on the territory of Ukraine from American companies. That's what he's about said in a comment "Suspilne" publication.
"All countries are buying, including us," he noted.
According to Budanov, such actions are a purely commercial service.
"They have used commercial pictures before," the head of the GUR stated.
Earlier editions The Atlantic wrote that Russia's long-range cruise missile strikes are likely to be launched using satellite images provided by US companies.
