Peaceful residents of European countries should stop being intimidated by war. It is not inevitable. This was stated by the head of diplomacy of the European Union, Josep Borrell, reports The Guardian.
"Calls to European leaders to realize the problems facing them are good, but they should not be exaggerated. War is not inevitable. I have heard some say that war is inevitable. Thank God that it is not inevitable," — Borrell noted.
According to him, European countries simply support Ukraine, but do not participate in the war with Russia. At the same time, he noted that the EU countries should prepare for the future by increasing the capabilities of the defense industry.
"But don't scare people unnecessarily, war is not inevitable. What is inevitable is the need to support Ukraine." Borrel added.
