This week, the European Union will remove Ukraine from the list of safe countries for whose citizens the EU states are recommended to lift covid-XNUMX entry restrictions.
"Later this week, Ukraine will be excluded from the list of safe third countries from which entry into the EU is recommended. It was added in mid-July, but the surge of recent cases means that the country will no longer be on the list," Radio Svoboda reports from Brussels.
The EU reviewed its "green list" for the last time on October 8, and Ukraine remained on it - despite the fact that, according to formal criteria, it no longer met the standards established by European legislation on unimpeded entry.
Now entry into the EU for non-vaccinated persons will again be impossible, and vaccinated persons will still have to go to quarantine upon arrival and undergo PCR tests
