The first round of a new large-scale project - the National Ranking of Influence "Elite of Ukraine" - started on September 1 in all regions of the country, except ORDLO and AR Krym.
Among the 5300 participants in the rating are politicians, businessmen, public figures, religious figures, as well as representatives of government, culture, sports, science and education, health care, and mass media.
A team of two hundred Ukrainian and international experts formed lists of honored people in 24 regions of Ukraine, whose activities are as effective and useful as possible for society.
From September 1 to September 20 inclusive, experts will evaluate candidates, each in their region, on a specially developed 100-point scale. Note that in parallel with expert voting on the project's official website https://www.elitukraine.com/ online voting is already underway. Anyone can vote for any candidate and thus take part in the formation of the country's new elite. The results of the first round and the top 21 in each of the regions of Ukraine will be announced on September XNUMX.
As Elena Ovchinnikova, the head of the organizing committee of the National Ranking of Influence "Elite of Ukraine" told, ordinary Ukrainians also actively participated in the candidate selection process - for example, in addition to the candidates selected by experts, several hundred more people, proposed by residents from almost all regions of Ukraine, were added to the ranking.
In the Kyiv region, as the most densely populated region in the country, experts will select one hundred of the best out of three hundred candidates. Also, 300 candidates each were selected in Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions. In the other nineteen regions, there are 200 people each who claim the title of the new elite of Ukraine.
