The Merdeka 118 skyscraper was built in Kuala Lumpur. It is the second tallest building in the world - 678,9 meters. The building surpassed the Shanghai Tower, which fell to third place on the list — 632 meters.
This skyscraper is inferior only to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai with a height of 828 meters. Ego construction began in 2016.
The building is planned to be fully opened by the end of next year. In addition to offices, the skyscraper will also house various hotels, shopping and residential complexes, and a water park with an area of 16 m².
Also, a two-level observation deck will be opened in the skyscraper, which will be the highest in Southeast Asia.
