Employees of "Infoksvodokanal" call on Odessa residents not to believe false reports about drinking water.
Recently, messages from unknown sources with a reference to "familiar with the Ministry of Emergency Situations" have been sent to the residents of Odessa via Viber and social networks, stating that drinking water cannot be used.
Here is the full text of the false message:
«They called us and said that something had happened to the water in the city, that under no circumstances should it be used for food or tea, even boiled. At least a few days. Warn anyone you can - I think the whole area concerns. I now clarified in a reliable source: everything was confirmed. The excess of ammonium is the third in the entire Seversky Donets, the reason is unknown, and chlorine is at the upper limit of the norm, therefore! My good friends from the Ministry of Emergency Situations dropped this, the information is verified».
In this regard, "Infoksvodokanal" officially declares that the specified message has no relation to reality, contains false information and is provocative in nature. Moreover, the text of the message refers to the Seversky Donets River, which has no relation to the water supply source of the city of Odessa. And the specified messages were sent to Kharkiv a couple of days ago. The purpose of this campaign is to destabilize the situation in the city and cause panic among the population.

Water quality is checked around the clock for more than 55 indicators in the modernized laboratory of "Infoksvodokanal" using the equipment of the world's leading manufacturers. In addition, water safety is confirmed by the latest test results of the Odessa Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The work of "Infoksvodokanal" on water purification was checked by European experts of the international TACIS program and was recognized as absolutely reliable.
