The investigative and operational group detained the Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Zhumabay Karagaev, the heads of electronic trading platforms and persons involved in the unjustified increase in prices for liquefied petroleum gas in the Mangystau region. In relation to Karagaev, the court decision sanctioned the measure of restraint chosen by the investigative body and supported by the regional prosecutor's office in the form of "detention" for a period of two months.
