Today, unknown persons broke into a bank in the Georgian city of Zugdidi and took the bank's clients and employees hostage.

It is known that one of the employees of the bank managed to raise an alarm and now the area of the incident is cordoned off by police special forces. There are two criminals: they are armed with assault rifles and grenades.
the police have already evacuated citizens from the territory around Gamsakhurdia Street, where the bank is located. It is reported that some of the hostages were able to escape, and later the robbers released the old men. A journalist of one of the local TV channels claims that he heard the sounds of gunshots from the scene of the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has not yet commented on the situation.
The criminals are demanding $500.
