The Ukrainian singer spoke about corruption in the National Eurovision Song Contest

The organizers are justified.

Singer Iryna Boyarkina, performing under the pseudonym ERIA, said that she did not make the long list of the Ukrainian national team for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 because she did not give a bribe. She wrote about it on social networks.

"If there is no producer, there is no big money to give a bribe - then there is no place in the selection. This is typical Ukraine," the singer emphasized.

ERIA is the soloist of the Mysterya group, a finalist of the X-Factor project. Singer applied for Eurovision 2022 with the song "MAVKA".

In addition, she published a post on Instagram in which she thanked the public for their support and asked to address all questions about the National Election to the organizers.

In turn, the organizer of the Ukrainian National Assembly commented on the singer's words about corruption, saying that "Society is the guarantor of an honest and open election. A long list was formed from 284 applications... It is clear that in every competition there are always those who are dissatisfied with the results, but it is unacceptable that some artists try to draw attention to themselves with baseless accusations and scandals."

We remind you that the final list of eight finalists will be announced by January 24, and the name of the winner will be announced on February 12.
