The Security Service of Ukraine confirmed the suppression of the demand for falsification of the second round of the elections of the mayor of Odessa on November 15.
Earlier, Odessa Telegram channels reported that the SBU seized fake ballots that were in Dmitry Golubov's office and were being prepared to be thrown in the second round of the Odessa mayoral elections. Let us remind you that Golubov officially supports the candidate from the OPZZ, Mykola Skoryk.
According to the information published on the official website of the SBU, law enforcement officers discovered hundreds of voting ballots identical in form and content to the original documents of strict electoral reporting.
Investigations are now underway to identify and bring to justice all involved persons.
We remind you that falsification of election documents by a group of persons, including ballots, is punishable by up to 10 years of imprisonment (Article 158-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
