Such people are the national elite.
We understand very well that doctors who have saved hundreds of lives are recognized as the elite today. The elite are the military, and their elitism does not depend on the number of stars on their epaulettes, but on what they did, how many people they saved, sometimes at the cost of their own lives.
The national elite are scientists who have not been paid attention to in the country for many years. It is shameful when a former doctor, soldier or scientist sits in the corridor and begs for alms.
I really want a real elite to appear in the ranks of deputies. I want these people to be always in demand - in the profession, in scientific centers, universities - regardless of age, nationality and religion.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find a person who is the elite of the country, but at the same time has a high political rating. But the mayors of large cities have high ratings, because people prefer to choose something familiar. But I believe that it is necessary to choose not by fame, but by decency and honesty.
