The State Property Fund of Ukraine (FSU) is starting the privatization of alcohol industry enterprises. The first auction will be announced next week. Taras Eleyko, Deputy Chairman of the State Property Fund, announced this.
In total, at the first stage of the privatization of the alcohol industry, 16 enterprises, which are part of the State Enterprise "Ukrspirt", will be put up for transparent auctions.
"Ukrspirt's factories are in high demand from investors within the country - grain traders, producers of pharmaceuticals, bioethanol, and alcohol. There are also interested buyers from abroad. The only ones who are not allowed to participate in the auctions are the representatives of the aggressor country," Eleyko emphasized.
According to him, the privatization of alcohol enterprises will lead to the development of various directions in the processing agrarian industry. In addition, successful privatization means the development of production, the creation of new high-tech workplaces and a large-scale increase in budget revenues.
