The Economic Court of the Odesa Region recognized the registration of Dom Russov as a territorial community of Odesa as legal. This was announced by the mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, on his Facebook page.
"Despite all attempts to take away their architectural heritage from the people of Odessa, we still defended the famous building in the court of first instance. It is planned to place a choreographic school, a tourist center and other organizations here that will work in the public interest for the benefit of Odessans!" - said Gennady Trukhanov.
The mayor of Odessa reminded that the city government restored the famous monument of architecture and, based on the decision of the executive committee, registered the right of ownership of the territorial community of the city of Odessa as the property of all Odessa residents.
This was tried to be prevented by private firms claiming a tasty piece, but the law is on the side of the Odessans!
