Investigators opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of quarantine requirements in a Kyiv hotel in Podol. This was reported in the communication department of the Kyiv police.
"Tonight, information appeared on social networks that a member of the Verkhovna Rada organized a party in a hotel in the Podolsk district. Law enforcement officers immediately went to the address to find out the circumstances," the police said.
Operatives communicate with the management of the institution, inspect the premises and conduct primary investigative actions. Information about the event was entered into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 325 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of sanitary rules and norms for the prevention of infectious diseases and mass poisoning). The check is ongoing.
Earlier, journalists reported that in the midst of the lockdown in Kyiv, People's Deputy from "Servants of the People" Nikolay Tyshchenko arranged a lavish party in the hotel in honor of the birthday of his wife Alla Baranovskaya.
