The United States of America through the Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the provision of additional development funding to Ukraine in the amount of 155 million dollars. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Additional resources will be used this year to address a number of key issues in various areas of Ukraine's development, including:
supporting economic growth and improving the health of Ukrainians - 34 million USD;
improvement of anti-corruption measures - 14 million US dollars;
countering Russian aggression - 63 million US dollars;
strengthening of democracy and governance - 44 million US dollars.
"The governments of the United States and Ukraine remain resolutely committed to the realization of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and further joint actions in support of the Ukrainian people," the message states.
