The European Union wants to make broad security commitments to Ukraine in its defense against Russia no later than the beginning of July. They relate to political, military and economic assistance and are designed for Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO.

"The European Union and its member states play a key role in the immediate and long-term security and stability of Ukraine through military, civilian, humanitarian, financial, trade and economic support, accommodation of displaced persons, support for reforms, reconstruction," — journalists learned.
According to the publication, the draft document states that in the future, the European Union promises Kyiv continued supplies of lethal and non-lethal weapons, continued training of the military, assistance in reforming the security sector, support in demining the country, and cooperation in countering hybrid threats and cyber attacks. According to the document, the EU does not intend to send its military to help Ukraine to counter Russian aggression.
