German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Ukrainians with a residence permit and a job will be able to stay in the country. He said this during a speech at the event of the RND newspaper group, DW reports.
"The legal situation is such that living here is not in doubt. Employment also leads to security of residence," - noted the chancellor.
Olaf Scholz also called on Ukrainians in Germany to find employment.
"We hope that those who came from Ukraine will work as soon as they have the opportunity to work. It is worth saying that many are already doing it, but there are still several hundred thousand of those who are urgently needed on the labor market." - added the Chancellor of Germany.
