The Kyiv police released all the detainees who violated law and order during yesterday's protests in support of the convicted Sergei Sternenko.

This was announced on Facebook by the communications department of the Metropolitan Police.

"24 active participants of the action were taken to the police station. They took explanations and let them go," the post says.

Law enforcement officers also reminded that in connection with the events on Bankovaya, Kyiv police investigators have started criminal proceedings.

Let us remind you that yesterday, February 23, a rally was held near the President's Office support of the convicted Sergei Sternenko. The action was accompanied by clashes with law enforcement officers.
