The dry cargo ship Arvin sank not far from Turkey, on which there were 13 sailors, all of whom are citizens of Ukraine.
This was reported by the governor of the Turkish province of Bartin Sinan Guner on air channel NTV.
"The sunken cargo ship was sailing under the flag of Palau, 13 crew members are recognized as citizens of Ukraine," the official said.
It is known that four people died. Six crew members survived. The operator of the vessel was the Ukrainian company Tesoro Marine, Guner added.
