In Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Odesa regions, law enforcement officers stopped buses transporting voters to other cities for voting.
This was reported by the head of the National Police, Igor Klymenko, during a briefing.
— From 12 o'clock at night, we detain buses that drive around the regions, carrying people, the so-called "carousels". There are such cases in the Dnipropetrovsk region and in Kyiv. Two buses from the Luhansk region that drove into the city of Kyiv were detained, people also came, I understand, to vote, Klymenko noted.
Such buses were also detained in the Odesa region. It is reported that a citizen of the Russian Federation promised voters UAH 400 per vote. The law enforcement officers detained the intruder and began questioning everyone on the bus.
Another demand for falsifications was discovered in the Svyatoshyn district of the capital, where 300 people tried to get sick leave letters about the impossibility of coming to the polling stations. Thus, the members of the election commissions would have to come to the homes of the sick to have the opportunity to vote.
