An extraordinary incident occurred in the city of Vasylkov, Kyiv region. A car with Euro license plates crashed into a military aircraft. As a result, the driver of the car was injured and taken to the hospital.
The press service of the "Center" Air Command reported this on its Facebook page.
"On March 10, an emergency occurred in the 40th tactical aviation brigade of the "Center" air command after the end of the flight shift in the dark of the day. In the course of towing the plane to the airfield, the car collided with the aircraft, as a result of which a fire occurred, which was promptly contained by the fire department of the unit," the message says.
As a result of the accident, the car driver was injured. Now his condition is satisfactory, he is under the care of doctors.
Law enforcement officers are working at the scene. An official investigation is being conducted in the military unit, the causes of the incident are being investigated.
